Human Rights Policy

1. Purpose
A2Z Instructional Designs, LLC (“A2Z”) is committed to respecting and promoting human rights across all aspects of our operations. As a provider of instructional design, eLearning development, and training solutions, we recognize our responsibility to create inclusive, accessible, and equitable learning experiences while conducting business ethically and responsibly.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, partners, and subcontractors working with or on behalf of A2Z. It extends to all projects, client engagements, and business relationships.
3. Our Commitment
A2Z aligns its practices with internationally recognized human rights principles and commits to the following:
a. Non-Discrimination and Inclusion
We foster a work environment and learning experiences that are free from discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, national origin, or any other protected characteristic.
We actively design learning solutions that reflect diverse perspectives and promote equitable access.
b. Accessibility and Inclusive Learning
We are committed to designing training and educational content that is accessible to all learners, including individuals with disabilities.
We follow best practices in universal design for learning (UDL) and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to ensure inclusive participation.
c. Fair Labor Practices
A2Z prohibits forced labor, child labor, and any form of exploitation.
We support fair wages, reasonable working hours, and safe working conditions for all employees and partners.
d. Health, Safety, and Well-being
We prioritize the physical and psychological well-being of our team members and collaborators by promoting safe, respectful, and supportive work environments.
e. Freedom of Expression and Association
We respect the rights of individuals to express ideas and opinions freely and to associate or organize in accordance with applicable laws.
f. Ethical Business Conduct
We conduct business with integrity, transparency, and accountability.
We expect our partners and subcontractors to uphold similar human rights and ethical standards.
4. Implementation
A2Z integrates human rights considerations into:
- Instructional design and content development processes
- Vendor and subcontractor selection
- Workplace policies and team practices
- Client engagement and project execution
We provide guidance and promote awareness of human rights principles within our organization and partnerships.
5. Reporting and Accountability
A2Z encourages the reporting of any concerns related to human rights violations or unethical behavior. Reports may be made directly to company leadership. All concerns will be reviewed promptly and handled with confidentiality and without retaliation.
6. Continuous Improvement
We are committed to regularly reviewing and improving our policies and practices to strengthen our impact on human rights and ensure alignment with evolving standards and client expectations.
